Ericsson Buys Cradlepoint for $1.1B

Swedish telecom huge Ericsson has agreed to acquire Cradlepoint, a U.S. wi-fi networking business, for $1.1 billion.

Ericsson reported the offer was element of its 5G expansion strategies. Its combined supplying would build new earnings streams and boost returns on investments in the network, it reported.
