Burger King UK’s manager has warned that up to 1,600 careers could be lost as a final result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Only about 370 of the cafe chain’s 530 British isles retailers have reopened considering the fact that the country went into lockdown.
Chief executive Alasdair Murdoch informed the BBC’s Newscast the financial destruction stemming from the crisis could eventually drive the organization to completely shut up to 10pc of its retailers.
