AstraZeneca sued by pension fund over alleged Covid vaccine testing flaws

The retirement scheme accused the business and its executives of “wrongful functions and omissions” and sought authorization to sue on behalf of all traders who missing out as a result of the share price tumble. 

Pascal Soriot, Astra’s main govt, advised Italian newspaper La Repubblica on Tuesday that the company’s companions at Oxford College experienced “said it was not moral to vaccinate outdated folks until they experienced enough basic safety data in more youthful people”.

“Other organizations took this risk, went in advance and vaccinated older folks more quickly or previously,” he stated. 

“But we have robust data displaying extremely robust antibody manufacturing from the virus in the elderly, comparable to what we see in more youthful folks,” he included.

AstraZeneca was contacted for comment concerning the lawsuit.
