Chhattisgarh to procure cow dung from farmers for vermicompost

The Chhattisgarh govt is setting up to procure cow dung at ₹1.50 for every kilogram from cattle rearers as element of its ‘Gaudhan Nyay Yojana’ which will be introduced on July 20, coinciding with the Hareli competition, officials claimed on Sunday.

The suggestion to acquire cow dung was produced on Saturday by a condition cupboard sub-committee below agriculture minister Ravindra Choubey, claimed a govt spokesperson.
