SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic—A little plane making an attempt to land minutes just after starting a flight to Florida crashed in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday, killing all 9 men and women aboard, which includes Puerto Rican new music producer José Ángel Hernández, the aircraft’s operating firm described.
Helidosa Aviation Group mentioned on its
account that the Gulfstream jet was carrying two crew members and seven travellers.
The plane had departed from El Higüero airport for Orlando, Fla., soon before trying to get to land at Las Americas Global Airport in the Dominican Republic’s money, Santo Domingo, the firm mentioned. The firm gave no facts on why the pilots aborted the flight or achievable will cause of the crash.
The airport shut down functions just after the accident, canceling hundreds of flights.
Mr. Hernández, 38, better identified as “Flow La Movie,” produced City Latin tunes such as “Te Boté” sung by Undesirable Bunny and Ozuna. He also produced “La Jeepeta” by Nio Garcia, Brray and Juanka and “Wow Remix,” in which artists Bryant Myers, Arcangel, Nicky Jam, El Alfa and Darell participated.
Helidosa Aviation mentioned Mr. Hernandez was accompanied by 6 kin and colleagues. It identified them as Debbie Von Marie Jimenez Garcia, Keilyan Hernandez, Hayden Hernandez, Yeilianys Jeishlimar Melendez Jimenez and Jesiel Yabdiel Silva. The crew members have been Luis Alberto Eljuri and Víctor Emilio Herrera, the firm mentioned.
