New Delhi [India], June fifteen (ANI): Following a clean tussle with the Centre around new IT regulations, Twitter has now been summoned by the Parliamentary Standing Committee for Details and Technological know-how.
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Details and Technological know-how has termed on Twitter to surface right before the panel in Parliament Elaborate on June eighteen at four pm and give representation on how to stop misuse of social media and online information.

“Twitter has been and remains deeply committed to India, and serving the vital community dialogue getting spot on the company. We have assured the Govt of India that Twitter is building each individual energy to comply with the new Recommendations, and an overview on our progress has been duly shared. We will proceed our constructive dialogue with the Indian Govt,” Twitter spokesperson said.
