In a technological know-how empowered initiative to get edge on rising alternatives to spike performance, transparency and greater income for all stakeholders, Spices Board India will launch a cloud based stay e-auction facility on Monday (November 1) at the e-Auction centre at Spices Park, Puttady in Idukki.
The cloud system is component of the Board’s continual initiatives to add growing value to Indian cardamom trade and export, by aligning rising technologies to aid tangible improve in value of returns, comfort, transparency and greater value in cardamom trade. The cloud based stay e-auction facility is built as a technological know-how-empowered alternative to tackle the present hurdles faced by the traders for participation in the auctions with interstate journey.
Dean Kuriakose, Member of Parliament, Idukki and member Spices Board will inaugurate the cloud-based stay e-auction on Monday. The event will be presided by A G Thankappan, Chairman, Spices Board. The keynote tackle will be delivered by D Sathiyan, Secretary, Spices Board.
“Unlike the latest procedure, when this system receives stay, growers, dealers and auctioneers can collectively choose component in auctions from any one particular of the e-auction centres, Spices Park, Puttady or the auction centre at Bodinayakanur, Tamil Nadu, as per their selection without having relocating into respective auction centres” explained D. Sathiyan, Secretary, Spices Board.
