WASHINGTON, April 20 (Reuters) – U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen informed her counterpart from Indonesia that there will be no “business enterprise-as-regular” for Russia in the global financial system supplied its invasion of Ukraine, the Treasury Division explained in a statement on Wednesday.
Yellen explained to Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati through a conference on Tuesday that the United States will go on to operate with Indonesia, which at the moment potential customers the Team of 20 big economies, to progress G20 business enterprise.
“Secretary Yellen firmly condemned Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, and emphasized there will be no small business-as-normal for Russia in the worldwide financial system,” Treasury claimed. “Secretary Yellen emphasized that the United States will carry on to do the job in solidarity with Indonesia to advance the vital enterprise of the G20, together with addressing the unfavorable impacts of Russia’s invasion on the world overall economy.”
