14 States finalise action plan for agri export policy: Commerce Ministry

Agricultural and Processed Foods Items Export Advancement Authority (Apeda) is engaged with all States and UTs for implementation of the AEP and has also signed MoUs with AFC India Ltd, and Countrywide Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), Delhi, to utilise their know-how in the agriculture sector, as per an formal launch circulated on Tuesday.

The other States that have finalised the motion designs incorporate Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Manipur and Sikkim.

The aim of the greater AEP, of which the State designs are a portion, is to double farmers’ money and also double agriculture exports from the state about the future number of a long time.
