UAS-B to offer distance learning course in apiculture

The University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bengaluru, will offer a distance studying study course in beekeeping, in accordance to DL Savithramma, Dean (Agriculture) of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of UAS.

Speaking at the inauguration of a webinar on ‘beekeeping’, organised by UAS-B, on Tuesday, she said UAS-B was a pioneer in setting up a division solely for apiculture in 1997-ninety eight. This division has manufactured additional than 70 postgraduates in apiculture till now. From 2020-21, UAS will be providing 1-12 months distance studying study course on beekeeping, she said.
