At minimum four NGOs doing the job for
the survivors of the 1984 Bhopal fuel tragedy on Sunday wrote to Key Minister Narendra Modi demanding that the ongoing clinical trials for Covaxin, an indigenously produced COVID-19 vaccine, be stopped in the Madhya Pradesh money in watch of the “gross violation of regulations and guidelines”.
In the letters tackled to the PM and Union Health and fitness Minister Severe Vardhan, these NGOs have also sought punishment for the “dependable parties who were being negligent in ensuring the protection, well being and the rights of the trial members”.
They also demanded financial payment for “damages caused throughout the Covaxin trial in Bhopal”.
