But now historic car or truck proprietors are warning the switch to electrification and the purple tape resulting from Brexit threaten the survival of businesses that hold these classic autos on the highway.  The vintage car or truck sector has fashioned a new group, the Historic and Common Vehicles Alliance (HCVA), to safeguard an market it states has an yearly turnover of £18.3bn and possibly employs or supports some 113,000 work, including engineers, restorers, craftsmen and components suppliers.
