U.S., Russia Set Schedule for Ukraine Talks in January

WASHINGTON—The U.S. and Russia have agreed to hold protection talks on Jan. ten, amid tensions in excess of Russian forces deployed in the vicinity of Ukraine, and Moscow’s needs that NATO renounce any enlargement eastward into the previous Soviet bloc.

No indicator has emerged that the two sides have been equipped to slender their dissimilarities relating to Moscow’s main demand from customers that the North Atlantic Treaty Business sever its military ties to Ukraine and Georgia, and rescind past statements that they at some point would be a part of the alliance.
