Aldi customers will scan a smartphone application when entering the retailer and following leaving will get an emailed receipt and be charged automatically working with their preferred card.
It is understood the tech operates by monitoring what buyers acquire from shelves, with no any scanning of products demanded, in a identical way to Amazon’s Clean outlets.
